Float required as needed. All travelers subject to float across all Cone Health facilities if needed. 3 West is a 30 bed Medical Neuroscience Progressive Care department with a primary focus on caring for medical neurological patients. A Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department CCMD provides monitoring surveillance for the patients. Staff is scheduled for 6-Week periods via a self-assisted scheduled through Optilink. Patient Diagnoses: Primary Patient Population: • Stroke including uncomplicated tPA patients • Tumors with aneurysms that do not require surgical intervention • Seizure disorders • Transient Ischemic Attacks • Traumatic Brain Injury • Movement Disorders • Neuromuscular Disease • Headache • Epilepsy Monitoring • TR-Band Secondary: • DKA and Endo Tool • Stable multiple trauma inclusive of non-isolated head trauma • Spinal Surgeries • Subarachnoid hemorrhage stable, non-comatose patients
