Our Client is currently seeking Oncology for positions in Jacksonville, Illinois for a 5x8 Days, 09:00:00-17:00:00, 8.00-5 shift. The ideal candidate will possess a current Illinois license. This is a RN position in the OUTPATIENT DEPARTMENT. You must have a Nursing License and at least 2 years of recent experience as a RN Oncology.

Position / Specialty: Outpatient RN Shift: 0800-1630 Ratios/Daily Caseload: 1:4 Weekend REQ: Every other Certs REQ: BLS and IL Lic must be in hand Open to accommodating block schedule? Ask during interview Locals accepted: Yes- no radius. Must have active IL license in hand to apply or already applied RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days. Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. If Client cancels more hours than permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts or portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section. If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift.

Additional Unit Information: • Interdisciplinary Support : Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Unit Secretary • Patient Diagnoses : IV antibiotics, hematology/oncology • Special Procedures/Unit Details : Fast paced outpatient infusion clinic which provides services to patients with daily antibiotic needs and supportive care for hematology/oncology patients. Also provides basic routine dressing changes and lab draws for PICC/Midlines. Changes of foley and suprapubic catheter.
Additional Requirements: • RTO we can auto-approve 5 days of non holiday RTO or less. Anything more requires facility approval. • Candidate MUST WORK 2 out of 3 major holidays. • License: MUST have IL license in hand at submission. • Can submit with references pending. • Locals accepted EXCEPTION: OR RNs must be 50 miles or more from facility. • Floating is 100% required of ALL TRAVELERS - Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital/s near by. • Certs required please see job description/unit description to find list of required certs depending on unit. AHA and Red Cross only - RQI cards not accepted. • Charting: Cerner. • Background Policy to be noted prior to submission so we can seek approval prior to offer. • Any PERM or PRN employee of Memorial must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler. • Lab appointment, Docusigns and Badge Photo must be completed within a minimum of 1 week signing the contract.
Modules: • Non-billable up to 16 hours, after 16 hours modules are billable. • Completed pre-start, then annually. • Non-clinical hours are fixed; clinical module hours may vary. • Modules are sent the Friday before start. • Modules must be completed by 4pm CST on the first day of assignment (Monday). • First day of assignment is a virtual at-home day; candidates must check for additional modules on this day.
