Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care during night shifts for medical-surgical patients
• Manage and coordinate total patient care activities on shift to ensure continuity and safety
• Assess patients, implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes with clinical judgment
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record and maintain clear communication with the care team
• Mentor and support fellow staff, promoting teamwork, conflict resolution, and professional development
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, staff, and agencies

Qualifications
• Current California RN license required
• Nursing degree from accredited school (as listed by the facility)
• BLS certification required
• Med-Surg experience required — you should be comfortable with med-surg patient populations
• Strong oral and written English communication skills
• Basic computer skills and comfort with electronic medical records (EMR preferred)

• Medical-surgical nursing best practices and patient assessment
• Proficient with electronic medical records and documentation
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients during busy night shifts
• Professional, tactful communication with patients, families, staff, and agencies
