Responsible for promoting and maintaining quality patient care through effective management of the activities of the total patient care services during shift. Must have skills and knowledge to sustain and evaluate competence in the care of the age and type of patient population served.
Qualifications & Skills Current California RN license with Nursing degree from accredited school, BLS certifications required and operating knowledge of Electronic Medical Records preferred. Med Surg experience a must. Good oral and written communication skills required and demonstration of interpersonal relationships in a manner that enhances communication, promotes conflict resolution and facilitates staff development. Must be able to effectively communicate in English; both verbal and written. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and interface professionally, tactfully and respectfully with patients, residents, family members, staff, the general public and governmental agency representatives. Basic computer skills required.
