Registered Nurse - LDRP plus one 12-hour on-call shift required per pay period. Hours per Week: 36.
Roles & Responsibilities • Provide compassionate, family-centered labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum nursing care • Perform continuous fetal monitoring and interpret tracings to guide safe care • Triage mothers in labor and coordinate timely interventions and transfers when needed • Lead and participate in neonatal resuscitation (NRP) and initial newborn stabilization • Deliver high-quality newborn and nursery care, including routine assessments and documentation • Collaborate with physicians, midwives and multidisciplinary teams during GYN surgical care when required • Respond quickly and calmly to emergencies, participating in high-risk neonatal stabilization and STABLE protocols • Maintain accurate patient records, communicate clearly with families, and advocate for patient-centered care
Qualifications • Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission • Healthcare Provider level BLS required • AHA ACLS and NRP required • Basic fetal monitoring skills required • Experience in triage, labor and delivery, postpartum and nursery required • STABLE and prior high-risk neonatal stabilization experience preferred • Ability to safely work nights and rotating weekend schedule • Strong communication, teamwork and documentation skills
Knowledge & Skills • Labor & delivery nursing best practices and protocols • Continuous fetal monitoring interpretation and strip management • Neonatal resuscitation (NRP) and initial stabilization techniques • Postpartum care and routine newborn assessments • Triage processes for obstetric patients • GYN surgical care familiarity and perioperative support • STABLE principles for neonatal stabilization • Effective interdisciplinary communication and family-centered care
