Our Client is currently seeking NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for positions in Madison, Wisconsin for a 3x12 Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00, 12.00-3 shift. The ideal candidate will possess a current Wisconsin license. You must have a Nursing License and at least 2 years of recent experience as a RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care.
Evening/Night, 12 hour shifts, 7:00pm-7:30am. Monday through Friday, required to work 2-3 weekends per 6-week scheduling period.
Must have at least 2 years of total NICU III/IV experience, with at least 1 full year of Level IV NICU.(You may combine Level III and Level IV experience to reach the 2-year total, but a minimum of 1 year must be in a Level IV NICU.)
Experience with post-op patients, g-tubes, trach/vents management, various modes of invasive/noninvasive ventilation.
Epic experience required preferred within the last 12 months
Licensure and Certification: • Traveler must have Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or compact license from their permanent address state. • BLS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY • NRP required • Telemetry • Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN)to: • Provide care for critically ill newborns, infants and their families across the continuum of care, from admission to discharge. • This 26-bed NICU is a model for patient-and family-centered care • Provide care for infants requiring the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services, including a wide variety of medical and surgical complexities.
Minimum Requirements: Facility Requirement: • Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location. • Floating - Travelers are the first to float. Depending on the current staffing needs, the traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units and/or at different locations within the organization. During the traveler s assignment, if the primary department no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another department in order to complete the contract.

Unit Details Interdisciplinary Support: IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Unit Secretary
Patient Diagnoses: We are a level IV NICU. We care for high acuity neonates with diagnosis including neonates who require surgery, including abdominal, genitourinary, head and neck, thoracic, heart and vascular or musculoskeletal, who have suffered a brain injury or stroke, have seizures or other neurologic disorders, require diagnostic imaging, such as an MRI, were born prematurely, have congenital heart disease, require cardiac catheterization, or those with metabolic or genetic disorders.
Special Procedures/Unit Details: 26 bed level IV NICU in a children's hospital connected to an academic medical center.Required to float to all AFCH units including PICU. Less than 12 months of age.
