Excel is seeking highly skilled healthcare professionals for travel assignments across the United States. As a Travel Healthcare Professional, you will have the opportunity to work in diverse healthcare settings, providing essential medical care while exploring new locations and cultures.
Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct patient care in accordance with healthcare facility policies and procedures. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. • Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation. • Adhere to infection control standards and other regulatory requirements. • Educate patients and their families on healthcare plans and treatments.
Qualifications: • Active state licensure in [specify relevant states] (e.g., RN, LPN, PT, OT). • Minimum [number] years of experience in [specialty]. • BLS/CPR certification (ACLS, PALS, or others as required by specialty). • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to adapt to different environments and work independently.

Additional Information: • Must have a willingness to float to other campuses ICU Units (Bucyrus & Galion) if census drops to maintain hours. • Travel experience is required; no first time travelers please. • EOW is required. • Please submit all time off requests - no more than 7 days. • Must make up all missed shifts; If it is your weekend to work during RTO, traveler must find coverage; if placed on-call traveler must return to facility within 1 hour. • Must have a minimum of 2 years of recent/consecutive experience in ICU in a hospital/acute care setting. • Knowledge of medication scanning is required. • BLS & ACLS are required. • Typical staffing ratios are 3:1. • COVID-19 Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only. • Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only. • Skills: Management of dysrhythmias, Arterial line management, Central line care/management, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Care of Ventilated Patient, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Isolation Precautions/PPE. • RTO: Any RTO should be included with submissions. Facility will not accept time off for any major holidays. • 2yrs recent/continuous experience. • Valid state license required. Pending Licenses not accepted. • Epic Experience preferred. • Locals accepted at same. • Candidates must be able to float to all 3 campuses (Ontario, Bucyrus, Galion) if there is a need. • Smoke-Free Facility and Campus. • On Call: if placed on call, traveler must arrive at the hospital within 1 hour when called in.
