Our Client is currently seeking Telemetry for positions in Marshfield, Wisconsin for a 3x12 Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00, 12.00-3 shift. The ideal candidate will possess a current Wisconsin license. This is a RN position in the IMC/Tele RN - 3N Cardiac/Tele/Dialysis type:Telemetry. You must have a Nursing License and at least 2 years of recent experience as a RN Telemetry. Unit Notes: • Department: 3N MS/IMC RN • # Beds: 29 • Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:4 on days through 2300; 1:5-6 on nights after 2300 • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Cardiac medical and surgical (post cath lab: stent, pacemaker, ICD, watchman, mitral clip, tavr; post cardiac surgery: cabg, valve replacements, Afib, chest pain, CHF, arrhythmias, syncope, bradycardia-temporary pacemaker • Experience or 'Must have' skills: Experience with post procedural cath lab patients. management of TR band compression devices, management of chest pain, experience with post cardiac surgical patients • Are RN's required to titrate drips: Yes; however there are no vasopressors • Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Nitroglycerin, Heparin, Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Lasix, Bumex, Dobutamine • Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Are RN's required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors?: There is a 24/7 central telemetry unit that monitors all non-critical care patients and does the strips. • Charge Nurse/House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Charge RN takes a modified assignment • Are there Nurse Aides on this unit/Ratios: Yes; 1; 10 on days, 1:10-12 on pm's, 1:15 after 2300 (possibly more on nights if we do an all RN model). • RT/Equipment: RT is 24/7 and will do nebulizers and inhalers with patients. RNs are responsible for Incentive spirometry. RT will assist with cpap, bipap, vapotherm (high flow). • Shifts & Scheduling: No self-scheduling, block scheduling if it meets the unit needs; generally not guaranteed in contract agreements, Fri/Sat/Sun option is available. • Weekend Requirements: Every other • Holiday Requirements: Every other • Is there Call or a Standby requirement?: No unless it is an extra shift • Floating Requirements?: As needed based on unit census • Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs Provided?: No scrubs provided; no scrub color • Unit/Department Specific Orientation: 1 shift of HR onboarding, 1 shift on the unit • MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Marshfield. If clinician previously worked with Marshfield, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date. • All clinicians must clock in and out at facility Shift Notes: 12 hour nights. Every other weekend and holiday. Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week. Requirements: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA).
