Our Client is currently seeking CVOR for positions in Marshfield, Wisconsin for a 5x8 Rotating, 09:00:00-17:00:00, 8.00-5 shift. The ideal candidate will possess a current Wisconsin license. This is a RN position in the CVOR RN type:Cardio OR (Cardiovascular Operating Room). You must have a Nursing License and at least 2 years of recent experience as a RN CVOR.

Shift: 8H Days 0700-1530. Rotating call, average 10 to 15 days/month.
Unit Notes: Department: CVOR RN Certifications Required: ACLS & BLS • # Suites: 16 (2 are CVOR). • Average # of cases per day: 28. • Common Cases: Must be able to circulate Cardiovascular/Thoracic cases surgery cases such as: daVinci Xi lung cases, open hearts, valve replacements, TAVR, thoracotomy and peripheral vascular cases. Also c-sections, lap appy, lap chole and bowel resections. We are specialized in the following 4 groupings: • Ortho • Neuro/ENT/Oral/Plastics • CV-T (they also help cover Peripheral Vascular) • General/GYN/Urology/Peripheral Vascular. • Scrubbing required - RN's: No. • Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Both, There is always a charge RN in the OR. We are staffed 24/7/365 with a minimum of one RN and one ST. • OR techs: Yes. • EMR: Cerner. • Shifts & Scheduling: Primarily day shift (0700-1530 or 1730 or 1930). RNs do one week of PMs (1500-2330) approximately every 5 weeks. Night shift possible with experience at our facility (2300-0700). Candidates will choose between 8-hour or 10-hour shifts (12-hour shifts available in certain cases but not a promise). First contracts will not get 12-hour shifts but on subsequent contracts they can request and it will be approved if our department staffing allows. • Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1-2 nights per week from end of shift to 0700. • Weekend/Call Requirements: 1 weekend approximately every 5-6 weekends. • Holiday/Call Requirements: At least 1 holiday per year. • What is call response time?: Call team 1 = 30 minutes. Call teams 2 through 4 = 45 minutes. • Floating Requirements: Yes, to the Outpatient Surgery Center across campus. • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Provided via Cintas vending, no cost, navy blue. • Unit/Department specific orientation: Yes, you get 2-3 days with our educator to cover all the basics plus CBTs. You also get 1-2 weeks of cases you need to learn flow or get cases you aren't as familiar with.
