The Intensive Care / Coronary Care Registered Nurse is a professional nurse who coordinates the delivery of nursing care for critically ill, post-operative, ventilator, post cardiac arrest, post heart cath, hemodynamic stabilization and other critically ill patients in the units. The Registered Nurse responds to code and emergent situations as a team member within the hospital. The Registered Nurse participates in-patient and family teaching, provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice in the intensive care / coronary care setting.
Hillcrest Hospital – ICU RN.
Day shift, 3-12 hour shifts, 7am-730pm.
Minimum of 18 months recent ICU experience.
Must have active Ohio license or an active compact state license in hand. AHA BLS & ACLS required.
ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate will be completed during orientation, an acceptable score on both assessments is required.
