Description: This position performs a variety of integrated pre and post-operative critical care functions, intuitively, using the nursing process while applying a broad nursing knowledge in a caring, concerned manner.
Responsibilities • Assesses patient for physical, emotional, psych/social and family support. • Organizes and coordinates all aspects of patient care according to the patient s real and/or perceived needs. • Evaluates patient progress by correlating patient information with nursing knowledge to determine if goals are being met according to the patient s plan of care or clinical path. • Consults and collaborates with members of the healthcare team in planning and implementing total patient care for individuals.
Submission requirements: • 2+ years of SICU Experience • Prior Travel Assignment History • Epic EMR Experience
Profile Requirements: • Work History • Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the speciality (ICU) • 2 Supervisory Reference Forms Completed within the last two years • Active American Heart Association BLS • Active American Heart Association ACLS • LARA and/or Nursys must state Active Michigan/MI License
