Minimum 1 year of experience. Quickly and accurately assess patient care needs. Work collaboratively with doctors and staff to provide exceptional care. Perform all requested diagnostic tests. Diagnose and develop treatment plans collaboratively with doctors and staff. Manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing needs continually. Comply with all legal and safety requirements at all times. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment. Work at maximum efficiency without compromising quality of care. Abide by all hospital rules and regulations.
Delivery of age specific, direct patient care. The RN provides nursing care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process and within the framework of the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care. The RN assumes leadership responsibilities, which includes delegation of work to other levels of employees. Compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.
Qualifications: • Atleast 5 years ED Nursing experience • leadership experience preferred
Supervisory duties include: • Daily unit flow, supporting Team Lead • Staff scheduling issues: managing call outs etc. • Ability to step into an assignment when census is high or call out occurs that cannot be backfilled – including triage • Represent unit at house-wide bed huddles
