Our Client is currently seeking CVICU for positions in Nashville, Tennessee for a 3x12 Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00, 12.00-3 shift. The ideal candidate will possess a current Tennessee license. This is a RN position in the Critical Care Unit. You must have a Nursing License and at least 2 years of recent experience as a RN CVICU.

Looking for highly motivated critical care nurses that thrive in very fast-paced, high acuity critical care department. We provide care to some of the most critically ill patients in the Nashville area and frequently receive patients needing our care from all corners of Tennessee and beyond. Though we serve patients with a variety of diagnoses, are biggest service lines are cardiothoracic surgery (open heart recovery) and neuro/neurosurgery. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, our team has also been called on to provide ICU-level care for patients suffering from COVID-19 infection all the way up to extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).
Staffing Certification: • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification • National INstitutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) • Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test
Unit Description Unit Capacity: 15 Beds Population Served: Patients with the following diagnosis Cardiac Surgery/Cardiac Transplant/Myocardial Infarction/Congestive Heart Failure/Cardiogenic Shock/Cardiomyopathy/Arrhythmias/S/P Cardiopulmonary Arrest/Post Ventricular Assist Device Placement Ages of Patients Served: Adolescent through Late Adult (14 - 60+) Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:2 Core Staffing Plan: Typical RN to patient ratio is 1:2. The direct patient care staff consists of Registered Nurses, Patient Care Techs.
