Registered Nurse - Cardiology (Ambulatory) ambulatory cardiology experience highly preferred. Comfortable obtaining and interpreting 12-lead EKGs and recognizing arrhythmias. Skilled in starting IVs, administering intramuscular/subcutaneous/intradermal meds, and managing IV infusions.

Knowledge & Skills
• Cardiology assessment and outpatient cardiology workflows
• 12-lead EKG acquisition and arrhythmia interpretation
• Medication emergency meds and nitroglycerin
• Anticoagulation therapy basics and monitoring
• Telephone triage, follow-up calls, and pharmacy refill coordination
• Specimen collection (capillary, urine - UA/clean catch) and result follow-up
• Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and cardiac arrest/CPR proficiency
• Epic electronic charting and chart preparation
• Pulse oximetry, vital signs, and pain assessment
