Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU
Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU (license-to-submit candidates considered) • BLS and ACLS certifications required • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in a large (450+ bed) facility (note: facility associate degree/diploma acceptable) • Willingness to complete facility orientation and simulation-based competency testing
Knowledge & Skills • Neuro ICU care and telemetry monitoring • ICP monitoring and neuro-focused assessment • EVD management and central line dressing change technique • Ventilator management and collaboration with RT • Cerner electronic medical record proficiency • Sterile field maintenance and procedural competence • Wound care, restraints, patient lifts and safe patient handling • Ability to float across ICU and Telemetry units and adapt to variable patient assignments
