Registered Nurse - PACU/Pre-op
5x8 schedule; manager-assigned, flexibility requested)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
Demonstrated experience with EMR required
Experience caring for Phase I and Phase II post-op patients
Comfortable reading and interpreting cardiac rhythms (RNs, not monitor techs)
Ability and willingness to float between recovery units

Education
BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills
• Post-Anesthesia Care (PACU) and Pre-Operative nursing skills
• Electronic medical record proficiency
• Patient monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Familiarity with Phase I and Phase II recovery protocols
• Experience with both electronic and paper charting workflows
• Ability to work in a fast-paced OR/PACU environment and handle varied case volumes
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient education skills
