Registered Nurse - PACU occasional 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM starts; No weekends, no holidays, no call.
Hours per PACU or perioperative experience is a plus.
ACLS and BLS required or preferred; PALS preferred for pediatric exposure.
Experience with Epic or other charting systems preferred.
Comfort working inpatient, ambulatory/outpatient, Phase I and Phase II PACU settings.
Willingness to float to Main PACU as needed and work within RTO restrictions.

Knowledge & Skills
• Strong patient assessment and pre-op evaluation skills
• Proficiency with medication reconciliation and narcotic/opioid analgesic management
• Familiarity with procedural sedation, monitored anesthesia care, and general anesthesia recovery
• Ability to obtain and interpret 12-lead EKG/ECG and lab values
• Experience with RASS and other sedation/agitation scales
• Understanding of insulin and hyper/hypoglycemia protocols
• Comfort caring for adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics in an outpatient surgery setting
• Effective communication, teamwork, and Epic documentation skills
