The Albany Health System is now moving forward with a more easy to determine limit, by county. So, effective immediately we will not be signing new contracts with travelling nurses whose listed primary residence is in any of the following counties. This will likely impact extensions as well, but let s take that on a case-by-case basis. Please bring them to my attention when we look to renew and I will provide you a decision. This is to ensure they are prepared to pass the onsite EKG exam required to have at least an 85% score and identify 100% of critical rhythms in order to pass. Traveler may be offered a retest if overall score is above 80% and below 85%, so long as all critical rhythms are identified, and they complete remediation through the Clinical Remediation team. This will be at the facility s discretion.
