Knowledge & Skills • IV therapy and infusion pump management • Starting/maintaining peripheral IVs; PICC, central line and port care • Administration of blood products and coagulation factors • Medications: corticosteroids, antibiotics, specialty MS/GI/Neuro/Transplant drugs • Emergency recognition and treatment of infusion reactions • Isolation precautions and appropriate use of PPE in outpatient settings • Infusion center workflow and outpatient adult/geriatric patient care
