Our Client is currently seeking Med Surg for positions in Soldotna, Alaska for a 3x12 Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00, 12.00-3 shift. The ideal candidate will possess a current Alaska license. This is a RN position in the Med Surg. You must have a Nursing License and at least 2 years of recent experience as a RN Med Surg.

Position Description: General job duties and types of procedures required: Manages individualized, goal directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures and standards of nursing practice.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept: Meditech, OBIX, Pyxis Supply Stations.
Required skills and minimum years of experience: 3 years Med-Surg background with critical thinking skills.
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required: Active AK state RN license. HS AED, BLS required.
Shift or schedule requirements: 12 hours shifts.
Floating to other units/departments: N/A
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept: 31
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: Per national standard.
Dress Code: Scrubs - provided.
Unit/department specific training and orientation program: Meditech and OBIX training 3 day training, plus unit specific orientation. CPH requires RN s complete Medication Testing once on site (to be completed within first two weeks).
Comments: Scheduling details: 7:00PM to 7:30AM - Every other weekend and following unit protocols, on call as needed.
