Our Client is currently seeking Orthopedics for positions in Springfield, Illinois for a 4x12 Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00, 12.00-4 shift. The ideal candidate will possess a current Illinois license. This is a RN position in the MMC6110 - 4E Orthopedics. You must have a Nursing License and at least 2 years of recent experience as a RN Orthopedics.

Position / Specialty: Ortho RN Shift: 4x12 or 3x12s Nights (1845-0715) 38 bed unit. Years of experience REQ: Minimum 2 years' experience required. Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend Certs REQ: BLS required. ACLS preferred. Is on-call REQ? None. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float to other Med Surg departments as needed
Special Requirements: • Telemetry experience preferred. • Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: PICC Line Management, Starting IVs. • Cerner experience preferred. • Previous travel experience is preferred.

Unit Details: • Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics • Number of Beds: 38 • Patient Diagnoses: orthopedic elective surgeries such as total joint replacement hips, knees, shoulders, spine surgeries, trauma patients needing many orthopedic surgical interventions, osteomyelitis and other infections involving skin and bone needing long term IV antibiotics • Special Procedures/Unit Details: traction, bedside debridement, complex dressing changes • Special Equipment: slings, walkers, canes, traction, casts, IV pumps, tube feeding pumps, syringe pumps, hospital beds, PAS boot machines, vital sign monitors, vein finder
