General Neuro Unit Shift: 3x12 hour days Years of experience: 2 years Travel experience: Preferred Charting: Epic Certifications: NIHSS, BLS Patient ratios: 1:6 3 South consists of 19 private rooms and serves a patient population with ages that range from the young adult through the geriatric patient. Priority admission is given to patients requiring medical surgical level of monitoring, interventions and care. The major types of patients include but are not limited to both medical and surgical patients and those with neurology or neurosurgical diagnoses. 3 South is equipped with telemetry and oximetry monitoring.
