Our Client is currently seeking Med Surg / Telemetry for positions in Watertown, New York for a 3x12 Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00, 12.00-3 shift. The ideal candidate will possess a current New York license. This is a RN position in the Nursing. You must have a Nursing License and at least 2 years of recent experience as a RN Med Surg / Telemetry.

Requirements

• Nursing License per state
• Current BLS and/or ACLS and/or Specialty Certifications
• 2 current clinical references

RN should be comfortable Floating to Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, ED, Pediatric.
Traveler must hold CURRENT NY license.
Coronary Care experience needed as well.
Traveler should have completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment.
First time travelers will NOT be considered.
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
Previous hospital RN experience is preferred.
BLS, ACLS, PALS required.
Possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles. Ability to provide quality patient care, and ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual.
Must recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts to and move patients in a safe manner.
Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate.
May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required.
