REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: • Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years Experience (NM requesting Neuro experience - If limited, please screen and call out at bottom of summary note). • Traveler Experience: Unit WILL ACCEPT 1st Time Travelers • Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes • Skills: Telemetry, Vents, IV Start, Drips • Certs: ACLS, BCLS, NIH.
JOB DETAILS: • RATIOS: 1:4. Avg. Daily Census: Unit will max at 24 patients • "Normal population"= Intermediate population that is sub-specialized with neurological population along with medical intermediate patients. • SHIFT: 36 and 48s can be offered • Unit Will Accept 13 - 26 Weeks! • 12 HR NIGHTS; 18:45 - 07:15 • Float Requirement: FLOATING REQUIRED to other intermediate areas along with critical care. • Weekend Requirement: 3 weekends every 6 weeks, a total of 6 weekend shifts between Saturday and Sunday.
PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Intermediate population that is sub specialized with neurological population along with medical intermediate patients.
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: This patient population will be geared towards the neurological patients along with the medical intermediate patient population.
UNIT SYSTEMS: PYXIS/EPIC/SBAR
SCHEDULING TYPE: Self Schedule that is then balanced/approved by staffer
UNIT ORIENTATION: 32 Hours, 8 hour computer class plus two shifts on the unit of orientation.
SCRUBS: Any combination of navy blue and white.
Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for, this specialty.
