Our Client is currently seeking Neonatal ICU Respiratory Therapist for positions in Boise, Idaho for a 3x12 Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00, 12.00-3 shift. The ideal candidate will possess a current Certification in Idaho. This is a Respiratory Therapist position in the Respiratory Therapy Boise Hospital Flr 1.

Unit Notes: • Department: Respiratory Therapy • ***BACKFILL - MUST START BY 03/23 OR 03/30*** • Unit: Respiratory Therapy Boise Hospital Flr 1 • # treatments per day : 36-42 per 12 hour shift or 12-14 every 4 hours • Certs: RRT preferred but will accept CRT with at least 3-5 years of experience. Adults: BLS, ACLS Peds: BLS, PALS NICU: BLS, NRP • Types of patients: Adults- all floors, Peds, NICU. • What areas do they cover: Inpatient. RTs for Pediatric floors will also cover adults. RTs for Adult floors will not cover Peds • Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have at least 2-3 years experience if RRT, 3-5 years experience if CRT, okay with first time travelers. If the are going to NICU need to know how to do NAVA (naturally adjusted ventilatory assist) on Cervo vents. • Job Duties: Will manage all RT equipment, treatments, transport, and ABGs. Will not do EKGs. • Are RTs Required to be able to Intubate Independently or only to assist: Travelers will only assist. • Hospitalist or Intensivist in house 24/7: Yes to both • Is there a Respiratory Manager/Supervisor/Lead Therapist on each shift: Lead on each shift- they cover ED, do daily staffing, and act as resource. Manager and Supervisor are available during the day as well. • Would the traveler ever be the only RT in-house: No, typically have 15-20 on days and 10-12 on nights. • RT Equipment: Vents- Draeger for adults and Servo U for Peds. V60 BiPAPs, Vapotherm high flow, Optiflow for NICU and PICU, Philips Cough Assist, ResMed home CPAP, HillRom Vest machines for percussion, Hill-Rom Metaneb. • Shifts & Scheduling: 7-730- Scheduler will make schedule, travelers will be filled in where there is a need. Do try to accommodate blocks as best they can, not guaranteed. Overtime may be available. • Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend • Holiday Requirements: Required to work if here during the holiday. • Call or standby call requirement: No • What is call response time?N/A • Floating Requirements: May float to Meridian Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center. • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any color as long as clean and professional. • How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: Typically 2-3 shifts. 1 shift for adult floor care and if doing Peds will 1 shift there as well as 1 shift in NICU if covering. If they will be covering adult ICU will get an additional shift here.
