Respiratory Therapist - Nights
Knowledge & Skills • Expertise in respiratory therapy and ventilator management • Mechanical ventilation and noninvasive ventilation skills • Experience with inhaled medications, including LABA, LAMA, SABA, ICS, and surfactant • Familiarity with inhaled nitric oxide and heliox therapy • Comfort caring for a wide range of diagnoses: respiratory failure, COPD, asthma, pneumonia, CHF, sleep apnea, ARDS, prematurity and COVID-19 • Hands-on familiarity with common ventilators and equipment: Drager V500, VN500, Evita XL, Carina, Philips V60 and V30 • Ability to work across patient age groups: neonates, infants, adults and geriatrics
