Respiratory Therapist - Tech. • Respond effectively to emergencies including CPR. • Ensure safe patient transport including ventilator-supported transports and appropriate handoffs. Qualifications • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required. • Active State of Hawaii Respiratory Therapist license required by start (applications-in-progress may be accepted). • Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience. • BLS and ACLS required; PALS and NRP preferred. • Current CPR certification and demonstrated experience with adult, pediatric and neonatal care. • Comfortable using ventilators (PB 980, PB 840, V60), ParaPac transport vents and computerized charting systems. Knowledge & Skills • Strong airway management and ventilator management skills. • Experience with non-invasive ventilator strategies and transport ventilation. • Familiarity with PB 980, PB 840, V60 ventilators and ParaPac transport vents. • Proficient with computerized charting systems and Pyxis medication workflows. • Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking under pressure. • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly during codes and consults.
