Our Client is currently seeking Neonatal ICU Respiratory Therapist for positions in Meridian, Idaho for a 3x12 Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00, 12.00-3 shift. The ideal candidate will possess a current Certification in Idaho. This is a Respiratory Therapist position in the Respiratory Therapy Meridian Hospital Flr 1 type:Respiratory Therapy. Unit Notes: • Department: Respiratory Therapy • Unit: Respiratory Therapy Meridian Hospital Flr 1 • Types of patients: NICU Level llB, MICU, Peds, Adults, & Gereatrics; PACU treatments, overnight oximetry. • Areas covered: ER and Inpatient, all floors. • Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must be comfortable floating between all specialities: ICU, MICU, MS- Tele, ER, etc. Prefer: Level II NICU and be comfortable going to deliveries and intiating Cpap. Peds in the ER; stablized and transferred out. Must have 2 years of experience; Okay with First Time Travelers. • Job Duties: ABGs (radial or brachial), all respiratory treatments, be able to manage on resp equipment • RTs Required to be able to Intubate Independently or only to assist: Assisting only. • Hospitalist or Intensivist in house 24/7: Intensivists, Hospitals, and Anesthesia. eICU at night. • Is there a Respiratory Manager/Supervisor/Lead Therapist on each shift: Manager- Julie, Supervisor Charge- Day & Night (runs shifts); Make assignments and available for a resource; may take a patient assignment if needed. • Would the traveler ever be the only RT in-house: Days 7-9 staff; Nights (at 11 PM) drop to 4-5 staff. • RT Equipment: Drager V500, Hamiliton, ReVel, V60s, Vapotherm; EPOC. • Shifts & Scheduling: Self-scheduling; Travelers will be the last to sign up and asked to stay flexible and fill gaps in permanent staff; Will not accomodate Block Scheduling; May be asked to trade with staff and/or rotate between shifts. Days 0700-1930; Evenings 1100- 2330, Nights 1900-0730. Manager wants RTO ahead of time. • Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend; Nights- Friday and Saturday, Days- Saturday and Sunday. • Holiday Requirements: May be asked to go into the Holiday Rotation. • Call or standby call requirement: Optional; Has a Text List for picking up shift. • Call response time: 30 mins. • Floating Requirements: Can float throughout the hospital; May be asked to float sister facilities: Nampa (14 Miles to the West), & Boisie (10 Miles to the E). May be asked to float mid-shift. Notification: Minimum of 60 mins heads-up prior to the shift. • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any color; clean and professional. • How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: 1-2 shifts with preceptor. Typically 1 day of NICU/General and 1 Day of ICU. • Charting System: EPIC • Care Setting: Acute
