General Job duties. Types of procedures required.
• Must be competent to proficient in: Abdomen (Aorta, IVC, Liver/Biliary, Pancreas, Spleen, and Renal. Both normal and Pathology). • GYN (breast, ovaries, Adnexa, Uterus, Pelvis. Pathology and normal, post-menopausal, transvaginal, adult and pediatric). • OB (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester, amniocentesis, complications, biophysical profile, gestational age, placental grading, abnormalities, IGUR, Uterus/Adnexa). • Procedures to include aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative. • Neonatal (congenital anomalies and neonatal head). • Superficial structures (Abdominal wall, breast, focal masses, hematoma, scrotum testes, thyroid). • Vascular (Carotid duplex, segmental pressure studies, upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex).
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept: Canon i700; Meditech EMR, Fuji Synapse PACS
Required skills and minimum years of experience: Min 3 years' experience in an acute hospital setting.
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required: ARDMS (AB)(OB)(RVT). Active BLS - must be AHA Certified.
Shift or schedule requirements: 40-hour shift work and call when appropriate.
Floating to other units/departments.
Dress Code: Personal scrubs, healthcare professional attire.
Additional Information: Must arrive the Thursday before start in order to go to employee health appointment on Friday. Please do not accept the start date offered if they cannot be there on time.
