Knowledge & Skills • Diagnostic ultrasound/sonography techniques for cardiac and vascular studies • Image acquisition and optimization, including transducer selection and technical settings • Operation and basic troubleshooting of sonographic equipment • Strong patient assessment, history-taking, and communication skills • Clinical documentation best practices and electronic charting (Epic) • Quality assurance and quality improvement methodologies • Sterilization techniques and adherence to infection-control protocols • Familiarity with The Joint Commission standards and regulatory compliance • Patient scheduling and workflow management
