Sterile Processing Tech

Minimum 3 years of sterile processing experience
Comfortable with rotating weekend and holiday call availability
Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and adherence to infection control practices
Ability to follow sterile processing policies, instrumentation guidelines, and safety protocols

Education
High School diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills
• Proficient in instrument decontamination, wrapping, and sterilization techniques
• Familiarity with inventory control and sterile supplies management
• Experience handling surgical instruments and preparing procedure trays
• Knowledge of sterilizer operation, biological and chemical indicators, and quality assurance
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with surgical teams
• Ability to work efficiently under time pressure while maintaining accuracy
