Unit Details Staffing & Scheduling • Work hours are 0700-1730, this includes a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. • Holidays: traveler must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year • Can only submit to 1 location within the region (PAMC, Seward, Valdez, Saint Elias Specialty Hospital, and Kodiak) • Valid State License (Allowed to submit with a pending license, takes 10-12 weeks) • Mile Radius Rule Applies ( must be 50 miles from facility) • References Required • No Locals Accepted • Candidates will float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals near by • Copy of Certifications • Specific Charting Exp. (Epic) • Return Staff Policy: Permanent staff must be separated from Providence for a minimum of 3 months to return as a traveler. • Travelers can only work for a maximum of 1 calendar year in their assignment. Travelers are then required to take a minimum of a 6-month break before returning for another traveler assignment at the same facility. • Facility only accepts Hep B vaccines and will not take titers or declination • REFERENCES - Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year (6 months for CNA s) of employment total within the last three years within a comparable specialty/setting that they are booked. This can include Charge RNs / Leads. • Housing: Please have your traveler look into housing options in the area, as options may be limited • Modules: Modules are non-billable, average 16 hours spent. Over 20 hours requires PM approval • Modules are completed pre-start, and annually • Time spent on modules is self-reported, completion is recorded in Workramp transcripts
