Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct patient care in accordance with healthcare facility policies and procedures. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. • Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation. • Adhere to infection control standards and other regulatory requirements. • Educate patients and their families on healthcare plans and treatments.
Qualifications: • Active state licensure. • Minimum years of experience. • BLS/CPR certification (ACLS, PALS, or others as required by specialty). • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to adapt to different environments and work independently.

Additional Information: • 100 MILE RADIUS RULE • Weekend, call and holidays required • 13 weeks • May be asked to precept new staff • Must be certified! • Must have travel experience! • Must have Ortho experience! • Must have scrubbing experience! • Must have Davinci experience • NBSTSA or NCCT certs only • Approved pharmacology course or previous medication experience and successful achievement in medications exam. • Knowledge in the use of cleaning/sterilization/disinfections of equipment and instrumentation utilized in the clinical operating room setting. • Desire to work within an Operating Room setting. • Qualified candidate will function under the direct supervision of an RN and assist in Nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient by performing routine & delegated duties according to the standards and policies of the hospital and department. • Candidate will perform technical duties relating to scrub personnel, including precise & efficient reaction to all situations & assist with departmental work as assigned. • Surgical techs have a vital role in creating and maintaining a sterile surgical room and ensure that surgical equipment is functioning properly & safely as well as assisting surgeons during surgical procedures. • Must arrive within 1/2 hour of getting called in.
