Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience (3 years preferred) BLS certification required Comfortable monitoring high patient ratios (45–60 patients) in a virtual setting Must not hold another on-assignment job during this assignment Willingness to follow a strict no-cell-phone policy (hospital provides a work phone)
Education • Graduation from an accredited cardiac or telemetry program (EKG interpretation included) • BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills • Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition • Advanced dysrhythmia interpretation and EKG interpretation skills • Remote cardiac rhythm surveillance best practices • Familiarity with Cerner charting and GE/Ascom monitoring equipment • Strong clinical communication and escalation skills • Ability to follow established protocols and improve patient outcome metrics
